What’s involved in becoming an ENERGY STAR® Retail Partner?
The EPA enters into formal agreements with retailers that clearly and consistently outline the terms and conditions for using the ENERGY STAR® name and marks. As a partner in the program, organizations agree to abide by the ENERGY STAR® program identity guidelines to ensure proper use of the logo. Compliance with ENERGY STAR® program requirements and Partnership Agreement is required to maintain partnership status.
Can’t any company claim they are a ENERGY STAR® Partner?
No, companies can say they sell and install ENERGY STAR® products and can use the ENERGY STAR® Product logos, however only recognized ENERGY STAR® Partners can claim partner status and use the ENERGY STAR® Retail Partner logo.
