What is zoning?
Zoning is a system that divides your home into separate comfort areas, and makes your heating and cooling equipment cool or heat only those areas that need it. For example, a living room with large windows may stay too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. A zoning system can send more conditioned air to the living room to make up for the heat gained or lost through the windows.

What's a Home Comfort Analysis?
The
Home Comfort Analysis
is our process for documenting the physical requirements of the home’s heating and cooling equipment, plus the personal comfort needs and desires of the home’s occupants. The analysis narrows down all the new HVAC system options available to the 3 or 4 custom choices that will best fit your specific comfort, energy efficiency, humidity and air quality needs.

What's a Hybrid Home Comfort System?
Hybrid home comfort systems make use of an electric heat pump, which is an all-in-one heating and cooling system. During warmer summer months the heat pump provides high-efficiency air conditioning. In the winter, the heat pump is paired with a traditional natural gas, oil or propane furnace to heat a home. The system automatically and intelligently selects the most energy-efficient fuel source to make the home comfortable – much like popular hybrid vehicles that use both gas and electricity depending on which fuel is most optimal.

What’s a Solar HVAC system (SunSource)?
The new SunSource Home Energy system actually powers the entire HVAC system and can also help to power your home. It’s the world’s only solar powered home energy system. Solar modules harness the sun’s energy to power the SunSource® Solar-Ready heat pump or air conditioner. When the heat pump or air conditioner isn’t running, the solar power can also operate other electrical devices in the home. With net-metering, any surplus power goes back to the grid possibly entitling homeowner to a credit. And a communication module allows you to see the system status, energy production, and also shows the environmental benefits of using renewable energy for your home.
