I would like to take this means to thank Mike Wadsley and the McElroy's Heating and Air Conditioning for their service and expertise. I asked McElroy's to check my heating and air conditioning system each spring and fall. This spring, the service technician noted some problems with my 30+-year-old furnace. He explained the potential hazards these problems could cause, so I requested someone to visit with me about my options.
Later the same day, Mike Wadsley came to my house to look over the system. He visited with me about alternatives I had in terms of efficiency, cost, and value. He suggested a heat pump as one alternative. He provided a list of satisfied customers for me to call, which I did. I discovered people who had this type of system installed were more than satisfied and the savings on heat costs was more than paying for the cost of the unit.
I called Mike and we visited again about the details and price. Then, in just over one day, my new furnace and heat pump were installed. These technicians explained the new system so that I could understand it. Beyond that, they offered to return after my work to see if I had any other questions. And may I say, these fellows left my basement cleaner than the day they arrived!!
Then my first month’s heating/cooling bill arrived. And sure enough, just as Mike had predicted, I saved money. My bill dropped more than $60 in the first month.
I am so pleased that Mike took the time to talk with me and explain the options I had. Mike is a knowledgeable service consultant, and I appreciated his no pressure approach. In addition, Mike advised me on other questions I had relating to efficient heating and cooling my home. I never felt rushed or pressured. Furthermore, no matter when or what my call may be, Angie is always helpful and prompt. I hope Angie knows that her assistance is appreciated as well.

I just wanted to advise you of the excellent service provided by one of your technicians. He not only serviced our problem but assisted my diabetic husband during a low blood sugar attack by contacting an ambulance and calling me to inform me of the problem. He called the ambulance and also put our dog out on our porch to get her out of the way of the ambulance crew AND gave her water also. This is service excellence above & beyond and I want to make sure this tech is recognized for his professional, courteous and helpful conduct.

I want to thank you very much for providing my special needs child with the much required AC unit... At about 10AM, James showed up with the new unit and promptly started his installation. At approximately 2pm we had a completely functioning unit with all the checks and balances done.

I called you tonight at 7:45pm. The girl that answered the phone, after I told her my problem, told me to switch the breaker off and then on and wait 20 minutes, if that didn't work to call them back. It didn't work and I called back at 8:10. I had a tech here at 9:30. He fixed the problem within minutes. HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT! Thanks for your great service!
