Strand Brothers Service Experts recommends the following loan and rebate programs. The easiest and most direct way to obtain information about these programs is to schedule an energy audit and estimate. Strand Brothers Service Experts provides this service at no cost on all homes ten years old or older.
Federal Tax Rebates | existing buildings | Texas Gas Services | Pedernales | Oncor Electric Delivery
- Equal to 30% of the installed cost of qualifying heating and cooling improvements, up to a cumulative amount of $1,500
- New tax credits available for the term beginning January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2010
Austin Energy
- Rebates for existing buildings
- High-efficiency heating and cooling system up to $650
- Building energy efficiency improvements
- Bonus rebates if building efficiency improvements are done at the same time as heating and cooling system replacement. Rebates can be up to $1600 (residential only)
- Tankless gas water heater installation. Rebate of $300.
Loans for existing buildings (residential only)
- Loans as low as 0% for 5 years when building efficiency improvements and heating and cooling system replacement done at the same time
Texas Gas Services
- Only applicable in select areas and must be combined with Austin Energy programs. Rebates up to $300.
Pedernales
- Heating and cooling system rebates. Rebates up to $350
- Bonus rebates for dual fuel systems (ideal for propane gas furnace with heat pump outdoor unit). Rebate of $1000.
Oncor Electric Delivery
- Applies to the previous TXU territory before the retail division was deregulated. Rebates up to $800.
