10 FAQs About My HVAC Winter Sales Event

On Janurary 4th we launched my Great Winter Sales Event, the largest national sale we have ever held. The goal of the sale is to help thousands of households take advantage of the lucrative but limited-time rebates now available, and reduce the nations heating and cooling energy usage, one home at a time. The sale includes a free home comfort analysis with a free precision tune-up, and a free $5 gourmet coffee card when you book your appointment online using the promo code SAM.

This sale is HUGE. It's the deepest discounts we've ever offered nation-wide... and it can save consumers thousands of dollars when upgrading their old and inefficient furnace and air conditioning systems. Rightly so, many of our customers are asking great questions. So I just wanted to take a little time to answer some of the common heating and cooling questions I’ve gotten about Sam’s Great Winter Sales Event.

What do I do to take advantage of the Winter Sales Event?

Just call 888-HEATCOOL (432-8266) or, find your nearest location and schedule an appointment on their web site, be sure to put SAM in the promo code field to get your complimentary $5 gourmet coffee card. The Service Experts Customer Care center will book your appointment with a friendly Comfort Advisor to perform your free in-home comfort analysis and explain all the details of the promotion, including what rebates and discounts are available to you.

What will happen during the free home comfort analysis?

A complete description of the home analysis is available here.

Is financing available?

Absolutely. We’ve worked hard to put together a financing package for this sale to help all consumers, even those with challenging credit, qualify for financing with a simple phone call. As North America’s largest provider of home comfort products and services, Service Experts has the resources to provide great financing terms to nearly every homeowner.

Is this a high-pressure, fast-talking sales person, like buying a car?

No. The Service Experts Five Standards of Excellence and our Code of Conduct strictly prohibit the use of any unethical sales tactics. Our goal is to clearly and comprehensively explain the costs, rebates and energy reduction benefits that a new heating and cooling system will provide many consumers. We then allow you to simply make the purchasing decision that’s best for your home and family.

Is this sale too good to be true, can I really get a furnace or air handler for up to 100% off?

It’s not too good to be true… and yes, in certain locations you can get free HVAC equipment. In some areas the available mix of federal, state and local government rebates combined with state and local utility rebates, plus our Service Experts discounts and rebates really can result in a free furnace or air handler.

What energy savings can I expect?

Depending on the age and condition of your present home comfort system, you can expect to save up to 50% on your energy bills with a new high-efficiency HVAC system. The energy savings alone may even offset the cost of your new system, especially if you choose to finance it with low monthly payments. Our Winter Sales Event is designed for everyone’s benefit, and will help reduce energy nationwide as thousands of homes upgrade their old, inefficient heating and air conditioning equipment.

Is this a gimmick; what’s the catch?

There is no catch. You will receive a free home comfort analysis, a free tune-up, and a free $5 gourmet coffee card when scheduling online using the promo code SAM. During the comfort analysis of your home, we’ll explain clearly how your rebates and discounts contribute to your saving thousands of dollars off a new furnace or air handler.

What heating and air conditioning equipment is being used for this promotion?

In the US, Lennox G50, G51, XC13, XP13 and CBX32. In Canada, Lennox G61V, 14ACX, and Merv 10 and CS500 2-stage touch-screen thermostat. Additional support is also in place for upgrades to higher efficiency Lennox models. Equipment is subject to change or substitution depending on local availability.

Is the equipment ENERGY STAR® Rated?

The featured heating product for this promotion is the Lennox G50 and G51, the G51 is ENERGY STAR rated. The featured air conditioning product is the XC13 and XP13 which in some cases would qualify as ENERGY STAR, depending on the completed system.

Does the equipment qualify for Canada’s Home Renovation Tax Credit?

Yes, up to $1,350. However, this tax credit is set to expire on February 1st, 2010, so you must hurry if you want to take advantage of this rebate.

We can answer all your questions during your free home comfort analysis appointment. Just call 888-HEATCOOL or visit your nearest location to schedule your appointment now.
