We're An Official ENERGY STAR Retail Partner

Energy Star

What's it mean to be the top heating and cooling service company? To us, it takes a serious commitment to making your home comfortable while doing our part to make the world a better place.

As an ENERGY STAR Retail Partner, we've made a promise to meet ENERGY STAR's high level of dedication to the environment. Energy efficient air quality products and home comfort systems can contribute tremendously to reducing energy consumption and ozone depletion. When you buy from Service Experts, you're buying from a company committed to reducing our impact on the environment, without sacrificing features, quality or comfort. Be sure to ask any HVAC contractor you would like to work with if they are an ENERGY STAR Retail Partner. If not, they may not have your home energy cost reduction as a serious priority. Here's just a few examples of how we do it!

We're Leading The Way In Energy Reduction

Get a Free Thermostat for Earth DayWhen it comes to a real commitment to the environment, Service Experts is "walking the walk". This year Service Experts gave away over $40,000 in cash and prizes to promote residential sustainable energy efficient products during Sam's Great GoGreen Giveaway. Our lucky winner won the top prize, a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, Motor Trend magazine's Car Of The Year! We also gave away a complete Hybrid Home Comfort System, including professional installation. Our third prize winner won their home's energy bills paid for an entire year (talk about reducing your home's energy cost)! Thousands of fourth and fifth place winners also won free HVAC Safety Inspections and gift cards from Service Experts.

During our 2007 and 2008 FREE Thermostat promotions in honor of Earth Day, we helped to ensure that the dangerous mercury contained in old, outdated thermostats is disposed of properly, while helping you save more every year on energy costs with a Precision Tune-Up. Service Experts gave away programmable thermostats, and recycled hundreds of old ones to keep them from entering our landfills.

As much as half of the energy used in your home goes towards heating and cooling it. A little efficiency goes a long way, and simply installing a new Programmable Thermostat and getting a Precision Tune-Up in every home doesn't just help to lower your energy consumption by as much as 30%, it can help reduce CO2 emissions by an average of 4 metric tons per year. That's equivalent to:

  • Taking two cars off the road in three years time*
  • Planting 329 full-grown trees**
As most contractors try to catch up with the crowd, Service Experts is leading the way in home energy reduction.
