The 50th Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in early January seemed to have a a continuous topic: Smart Home. Below are a few of the devices that were highlighted at the show that can help make your busy life at home, and away from home, a little more effortless.

Ping Camera by Vivint

Vivint featured their new Pint Camera, which activates when someone goes to your front door and uses the doorbell. A light can automatically turn on and the homeowner receives an instant notification that someone is at the door. You can even talk to the visitor over your phone through the Ping Camera and unbolt the door for them.

iDevices Smart Thermostat

Smart thermostats have been a popular device for the last several years, and iDevices has stepped it up a notch with their own version. Their thermostat can notify you if there is a serious storm that causes a leak or flooding in your home.

A new item by Petcube allows pet owners to observe and interact with their furry friends while they’re away. The appliance can even give your furry friend a treat if you order it!
