Courteous and Knowledgeable Technicians
(2024) Jeff and Michael and Aaron were courteous and knowledgeable today! Our boiler is 100 years old and we needed them to find out why two of the radiators in the house weren’t working in the winter. They investigated the whole system and got the radiators working in no time.
We have had other technicians come out in the past, including to install a dishwasher and fix major plumbing issues, and everyone has always been professional and helpful.
Update (11/28/25): We had another great experience today with Paul DeBolt, who came and fixed our sink! Unfortunately, the call center didn’t give him the specifics about what he was walking into, but he assessed the situation and made the fix in a timely manner.

Our water heater failed catastrophically on a Friday evening, and Chief/Bauer had a plumber, Paul DeBolt, reach out to us first thing Saturday morning. Paul quickly identified the right replacement, got the parts, and installed the new unit the same day. He made precise adjustments to the piping and worked efficiently and professionally throughout. We had hot water again by Saturday afternoon. While the service was on the pricier side, the speed, expertise, and quality of the work made it well worth it. Highly recommend Chief/Bauer and Paul.
Very friendly service technician
My furnace blower was not working correctly and I was unaware of the issue. It was very easy to schedule a service appointment and the technician came the next day. Jacob was great at diagnosing the issue and fixing it within an hour. Jacob also let me hover, watch, and explained what the issue was and how it was going to be fixed. Very friendly service technician and seemed very knowledgeable of the issue I was having. Will be using this company and service again in the future.

We had Paul Debolt do a yearly plumbing inspection. Paul found an issue with the installation of our water heater that had been done five years earlier by a different technician and never addressed in previous yearly inspections. He was able to fix it (at no cost to us). Paul is very courteous, friendly, and is excellent at explaining what he was doing step-by-step. He also gave me a few suggestions of things to do to prevent plumbing and heating issues. Extremely knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. He never tried to sell me on any extras.
