Careful and Thorough Yearly Checkup
Doug came to do our yearly checkup and spent time and attention to both our furnace and our outside unit. He was careful and thorough. We appreciate their extra care and are asking for a complimentary furnace evaluation since our unit was last installed in 2005 and has some age on it.

Our decision to use ESA is based on feedback from neighbors and friends who have utilized ESA as their HVAC service technicians. My research on HVAC companies in the Columbia area led me to ESA, and we are proud to say we were not disappointed. Our experiences have been positive. Ibrahim, the first ESA representative called for servicing, was thorough and professional in explaining the necessary services for the system. He clarified that the 21-year-old system was not worth investing in any services due to its age and condition, which resulted in Frank Hainley Jr. being appointed to discuss options for a new system.
Frank was professional and inviting in both approach and demeanor, taking the time to examine the system, duct work, and registers in the house. After reviewing the system’s configuration and addressing our needs, Frank provided a well-prepared estimate with options outlining the benefits of each system included in the proposal. We were pleased with the latitude that the proposal laid out and the options we selected, and Frank followed up with a call to discuss the system and options we had chosen. Frank was attentive, courteous, and genuine while providing answers to our questions and detailing the procedural process of the work to be done.
Ryan Quin and his associates displayed outstanding workmanship during the installation. Ryan ensured that the system was installed as if it were his own home. He maintained a relaxed yet genuine professional bearing and was willing to explain the installation process, which, although lengthy, was never rushed. The installation took two days due to a faulty unit, but Ryan was a true champion who ensured the job met our satisfaction as well as his approval.
When it came to replacing the upstairs bathroom’s rotten boot, Ryan was meticulous with his measurements to locate the defective boot, taking great care to minimize any unnecessary drywall damage. He displayed exceptional craftsmanship in this time-consuming task, perfectly matching his measurements to locate and replace the faulty boot. All in all, the overall experience was well received with having ESA as our comfort specialist; we could not be more pleased.

We were in a semi-emergency situation with a furnace that had stopped functioning, and they scheduled us quickly, got an advisor out to survey the situation, and made recommendations. Nothing is cheap today, but they were reasonable in their prices, highly competent, and in two days we had a new furnace, AC, and water heater. Cory, the team leader, did a good job explaining the new furnace and thermostat. Overall, our experience with ESA was very positive.

I've been a customer for forty years and have always been pleased with the installations and service. This past Friday, an unfamiliar red and white truck pulled up for my annual system checkup. But it wasn't the usual silver ESA truck. When the technician came in, I asked about the truck, and he explained that ESA is now part of the Service Experts company. So, while he worked, I did a little web research and was surprised to discover that you can now 'lease' a new system. I am lucky that my tech this day was Willy Innocent. He was well versed in the details and took the time to answer my questions, not just about leasing, but whether things will change with Service Experts. And after examining my furnace and AC unit, he gave me a full explanation of their statuses. He was friendly and professional. I enjoyed his being here. Great job, Willy!
