Imagine your furnace going down on a cold night. Well, it happened to me, and I was immediately on the phone with Roland J. Down, and they were here within an hour. I would like to give a big thanks to Mike O'Flaherty and Nicholas Flanagan for coming and for the great work on getting my furnace up and running again. Thank you, and thank you, Roland J. Excellent! I had no heat
Excellent! I had no heat in my living room but had a space heater. Mario and his co-worker are going to order a part for me. They were in and out in no time and were able to make the appointment the same day I booked it (on a Sunday!!!). Thanks, guys! Later that year - 01/13/25, Antonio cut through some sheet rock for me to investigate an inactive bathroom leak. He was in and out in no time, did a great job, and charged under $100! Thanks!

Professional and punctual service
Blessin Green from Roland J. Down Service Experts recently visited my home to do maintenance and service work on my heat pump and hot water heater. She is punctual and professional. Very easy to work with and did a great job. She even replaced my air filter!
After over 30 years, the heat pump originally installed in my condo unit needed upgrading. Sean Murphy made an outstanding presentation explaining the arrangement to lease and have annual service guaranteed for a new unit. Justin and Nick were on time for the days we scheduled to do the installation of the new unit. They took care of business in a professional and courteous fashion, and I am living in comfort with my upgraded heat pump.

We had a water leak over the weekend. RJD was very responsive. Our technician Ed did a great job fixing the leak, cleaning up the worksite, and explaining everything he did and also providing cost estimates along the way. Very satisfied with the service!
I highly recommend using them
We purchased our new furnace from Roland Down about 18 months ago. We had a problem today, Saturday, and the technician was able to come by 6 PM, and it was a simple fix. I highly recommend using them for repairs as well as purchases of new heating and cooling units.
The guys were great
The guys were great. Clean, efficient. Diagnosed the problem Tuesday and fixed everything Wednesday. Didn’t know RJD did plumbing problems but will now use them in addition to HVAC maintenance and replacements.

I would recommend them to anyone
Today, my husband and I had to have a furnace replaced and installed. This was from cracks internally that could lead to CO2 poisoning. Roland J Down was able to come four days after the maintenance inspection. They upgraded our furnace from a 96% efficiency to a 97% efficiency furnace, as the 96% one wasn’t available. Christopher M was our main installer along with Angelo. Both were extremely polite, respectful of our upstairs space and answered all of our questions. I would recommend them to anyone.

10/10 service and professional
I recently installed my own smart thermostat. Hooked everything up and the furnace was working as it should. Had a no-heat condition late last night. A trouble code was lighted. I reset the furnace and reinstalled my old thermostat. Called RJD and made an early morning appointment. Anthony and Sherry showed up. Very professional. Diagnosed the problem efficiently and effectively. Made the appropriate repairs and were out of here within a few hours. 10/10 service and professional.
