Michael O’Flaherty and Haresh provided world class service. They showed up on time, looked professional, and always had a smile while fully explaining where our system is, what we can do to make it better to get us down the road till we replace. They made 4 recommendations to have a cleaner, healthier home and a little more maintenance to help us get another year or two out of the system till we replace. Mike is my guy for future homes that I flip. Not pushy but matter of fact and gave me great options. I will be calling Mike when I upgrade to the next Lennox system. Couldn’t be happier. Both guys were great!!!

Professional, knowledgeable, & hardworking
The technicians (Kaleb, Adam, & Andrew) were professional, knowledgeable, & hardworking. I appreciate their dedication and investment into making sure my furnace was repaired. However, I found the initial lack of communication with the office to be disappointing. We had scheduled an emergency call for a 4 p.m.–8 p.m. arrival. I called at 8:30 when no one arrived, but was not given a clear time of arrival until shortly before they came at 11 p.m. They were unable to fix the furnace due to a defective part, and they left (after trying diligently to get my heat on) stating that someone would call. I called the next morning and spoke with a helpful representative who called back a few hours later with a 4 p.m. appointment. The technician arrived around 4 p.m. and made effective repairs within an appropriate time frame. Other than the defective part and the lack of follow-up communication with the initial delay, I was satisfied.
Very knowledgeable and pleasant
We had a water bill that was double what it had ever been in the past. The RJ Down plumber diagnosed and resolved the problem by replacing a part in a toilet. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.
Always Goes Above and Beyond
My history with Roland J. Down Service Experts is almost 20 years and has always been superb. They are an honest company that believes in helping their customers and always goes above and beyond. Of course, the best part of any company is its people, and RJD has always sent truly great ones.
Yesterday morning, the furnace pump had leaked water across the basement floor. Very scary! I called, and they sent Kaleb Kruglak. He arrived 15 minutes early, quickly assessed the furnace problem, and immediately reassured me that he could take care of the leak. He checked every part of the furnace to make sure it was dry and there wasn't a larger problem. He explained how things work, and why and what had caused the leak. Although he first tried to repair the original pump, it couldn't work more than five minutes without failing again, so he installed a new pump. He even took time to show me the float lock (if I have the right term) and why it had failed. He is a good teacher!
Kaleb is truly an excellent man who takes pride in his work. He is also patient, calm, and a real gentleman who takes time to make sure his customers' questions are answered, their concerns are dealt with, and they are happy and reassured all is well with their heating and cooling system. Over the years, I have known other outstanding service people from RJD, but I am greatly impressed by Kaleb, very grateful for his very professional work and his wonderful kindness and positive manner. I hope he can be my regular service technician from now on.
(I am an Advantage customer, so there was no charge for me. I highly recommend this, keeping all regular maintenances for my furnace and air conditioning, and Roland J. Down Service Experts the reliable company of people whether in the offices or in the field.)

I usually don't write reviews, but in this case I wanted to say how well our experience went. Michael O'Flaherty was knowledgeable, helpful, and very pleasant in explaining our options. The two install technicians, Alexzander McCullen and Brian Matos, were also very competent and professional. In addition, they were extremely pleasant and patient with our cat. Very nice guys!

Mekhi Was Great!
We had an outside water spigot freeze this winter and crack. Unfortunately, it took two days before we could get a service tech, but once they got here it only took about 30 minutes to get it fixed. Mekhi was great! He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain my options.

I first want to say that I was very hesitant at the beginning of my furnace issue. I was also nervous going with a bigger company in the space. I usually went with a smaller guy that had been bought up. Yes, it was 25+ years old, so not shocked I needed to replace it. I was just not comfortable because I had to do it without much research, since it went out when the temps were not getting above 0 degrees. The good news is after I purchased the new furnace I researched it. It is a great unit and the cost was competitive. It wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive, whew. The service was 5 stars. Kyle Borthwick and his team showed up exactly at 8 a.m., went to work, very respectful of the house, explained the install and it aligned with what I worked out with Sales, and when the job was complete explained everything and answered all of my questions. The work looks good. He did well for a very stressful situation, and I now have heat!

Installers Were Professional and Friendly
Just had a tankless hot water heater installed. Estimate yesterday, installation today; installers were professional and friendly. I now have a furnace and a tankless water heater, done by Roland J Down.
The crew was great
My boiler/heat source was failing with temps in low single digits. RJD was here in one day to evaluate, and the next day to replace the entire system. The crew was great. I’m 85 and they treated me with respect.

Correct diagnosis is everything in solving electrical circuitry problems, and Patrick was clearly expert level with a quick diagnosis and fix to a puzzling issue of several dead outlets. Little expensive but well worth it to get the fix done right.

My furnace died during a -10° night
My furnace died during a -10° night and they came out and diagnosed right away, thanks to George. I needed a new furnace and while my house was 40 degrees, no complaints from James or Walter. I have a tiny dirt basement and crawl space and they installed and cleaned everything up. Thanks again, guys.
