I had my gas boiler serviced recently and Service Experts did it again! Formerly Flanders Heating & Cooling, but since the company was acquired by Service Experts, the service has improved. Appointments are made in a timely manner with very polite customer service representatives. Technician Philip has been stellar!! Always making honest recommendations and very patient when I would ask questions. Estimates have been fair and competitive too. I would highly recommend to any homeowner. Great company!! I have been a Service Experts (formerly Matz-Rightway) customer since 2020. Since that time, I found them to be reliable, professional, and trustworthy. But a recent experience showed me just how seriously they take their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Several years ago, I had a split air-conditioning unit installed in our pool house. Because we rarely use the pool house for guests, it was about a year before we realized the unit was not working. Service Experts came out, repaired it, and it appeared to be working properly.
Since we continued to use the pool house only occasionally, it was about another year before we discovered that the unit once again was not working - something was clearly wrong with the unit. Essentially, we never had a functioning unit from the time it was installed.
When I contacted Service Experts and explained the situation, I couldn't have been more impressed by their response. I want to emphasize that at this point Service Experts was under no legal or contractual obligation to repair or replace the system. They could easily have said that too much time had passed.
Instead, they listened, evaluated the situation, and did what they believed was right. THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WITH A BRAND-NEW UNIT.
I especially want to recognize Mike, the General Manager; Judd, the Service Manager; Adrian, who came to evaluate the broken unit; and Ken, whose team replaced the unit. Everyone involved was professional, responsive, and genuinely interested in making sure the situation was resolved properly.
It is easy for a company to advertise a "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed." What matters is what happens when honoring that promise actually costs the company something. Service Experts chose to stand behind its word.

The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is that the process of making my service appointment and dealing with a 3rd party, “offshore” customer service representative was dreadful. Dan, the technician, was great. I’ve been with Flanders well over 10 years, never had an issue, but I hope they dump the 3rd party “offshore” customer service provider.

I had a leaking/broken condensate pipe spilling water in the basement. It was 2:30 p.m. today when I called Service Experts (ex Matz, ex Flanders). A technician showed up an hour later (Michael) and fixed the problem by replacing the line. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's amazing that service of that level still exists!
