We Highly Recommend BW/Cook
For anyone looking for a heating and air-conditioning company, we highly recommend BW/Cook. My husband and I had unknown ice dams during the polar vortex, which hit and greatly damaged our air-conditioning unit. When we called BW/Cook, they were quick to both come out and assess our situation. A special shout-out to Janner and Bill, our technicians, who were professional, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. As a result of them, we now plan on using BW/Cook for all of our heating and air-conditioning needs going forward! Five stars!

Personable, knowledgeable, timely
Yogi, our installer, replaced our thermostat with a smart thermostat purchased at Menards. He was able to do this in about an hour. He’s worked on our furnace on multiple occasions where a part has acted up. He’s been great every time he’s been out. Personable, knowledgeable, timely and service oriented. It’s great to know we have someone competent to call when needed.

Received service Feb 10, 2026, from Bradley Reynolds, Residential Sales Consultant, and John Whitfield, Service Tech. Both were very polite, professional, and honest gentlemen. John, service tech, explained the problem in great detail, and I was very pleased, and Bradley explained the benefits of possibly considering the benefits of the Advantage Program, which again I felt he was honest and not just wanting to make a sale. I purchased a new Lennox furnace and am very happy that I listened to both of them.

Honestly wonderful service from the beginning
UPDATE: Spoke to Logan, manager, and he apologized about the miscommunication. It was a newer tech on his first day solo and made a mistake. Honestly wonderful service from the beginning and the way this was fixed was fantastic. I'm keeping original review below for sake of transparency, but B&W did everything I would hope to fix the issue.

When our water heater went out at the end of 11/2024, BW came out in a timely manner and provided great service. A 5 star experience at that point. However, as we are gearing up to sell our home, we are told there is a small gas leak on the union between the heater and the gas line. Call BW to get service out here, which was done rapidly (called 4 p.m. the night before, someone was out by 10 a.m. the next day). Where I am disappointed is that I was charged a $99 service fee for what was clearly an incomplete install job. I'm not sure if the technician had the ability to waive it or not, but I made it clear in my request that this was an issue from install and needs to be fixed. I'm hoping this is a misunderstanding and will be rectified (and update this review too), but if not, be warned that you may need to double check water heater installs for gas leaks on your own time and dime.

He was very knowledgeable of our particular furnace, thorough in our furnace checkup, and answered all of my questions.
