All our experiences have been positive
My family has used Barlow Service Experts for most of our home HVAC maintenance and repair since 2016, and our experience has been positive — good work, clear explanation, attention to detail have all been appreciated.
Harry evaluated our furnace today for issues with its blower motor, and after a thorough look, had clear explanations around the issue and recommended remedy.
Earlier this year, we had Roberto and Taylor out for maintenance and a frozen/dirty coil cleaning, respectively. In 2016 at a previous house, Service Experts replaced an old furnace damaged by electrical fire. They have a clear process around documenting work and keeping records over time, which is reassuring. Everyone we have interacted with in these times has been straightforward and easy to work with, and we have appreciated knowing that if we have issues we’re not sweating too much over logistics of keeping things running.
The costs and annoyances of HVAC wear and maintenance is sort of one of those necessary annoyances of home ownership (stuff that moves is stuff that can break). We have had good experiences and bad experiences with contractors fixing our heating/cooling — all our experiences with Barlow Service Experts have been positive (high quality work and process, acceptable pricing).

True professionals in every sense
I want to make it clear that I'm writing a positive review even though I may not go with Barlow. The reason I'm writing a positive review is because Taylor and Danielle were very knowledgeable and thorough. The reports they write up and send you make you feel like you actually got something out of the dispatch fee, even if you don't choose their services. That said, the only reason I may not choose them is because I want to get a second opinion on pricing for a new system. Other than that, they did everything right - from putting booties on their shoes before coming in my house, to explaining everything in detail and showing me pictures from the video feed. All of it was very informative and I appreciate it greatly. True professionals in every sense. I think it says something great about a company that left a good enough impression for a positive review without a guarantee that they'll get my money.
That said, something has to give with the prices in the home service industry. It's not just Barlow. I've had other companies come out for different reasons, and they are all astronomically high in price for things that I can usually either do or learn how to do for a fraction of the cost. The cost is no longer worth the convenience for most things. Subscription models don't hide the true cost, and I just don't understand who is paying these prices.

Harry B. serviced the furnace, and I asked a few other questions, and he answered them all and even screwed in the duct that the previous company did not do and re-taped it and turned on my humidifier for me as well.

Daniel and Gio did an excellent job
I had a furnace and air conditioner replaced, and Daniel and Gio did an excellent job. They solved problems, and Daniel put back everything he had to move in the exact place and cleaned up everything. Both Daniel and Gio were respectful and answered every question. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend Barlow’s.

He Really Cared and Wanted to Take Care of Us
Taylor came by to take a look at my (very old, but living) furnace that had stopped working. He immediately found the issue but stayed to make sure the rest of the furnace looked alright.
