I can’t say enough good things
I can’t say enough good things about this company. From the moment our water heater ruptured (Thursday night), the team was incredible. I filled out a form online that evening and booked the first available appointment on Monday, noting I was hoping we could be seen sooner.
Mike called us first thing Friday morning and made sure we were seen that day, which made a huge difference! Jamie and Mitch arrived that afternoon, identified the issue, and walked us through multiple options. This wasn’t our first time dealing with something like this, and they really took the time to understand both our short-term and long-term needs and concerns. At no point did anyone use pushy sales tactics. They asked thoughtful questions, listened carefully, and gave honest, practical feedback and service.
Ashton and Logan came that Tuesday, on time, to install our on-demand water heater, and the process was smooth from start to finish. They were both friendly and professional and worked hard.
Mitch also kept us informed and checked in throughout the entire process, which we really appreciated.

Amazing when you get a competent tech
James came out and fixed our hot water in the morning and correctly diagnosed problems in about 3 hours that a tech from another service provider was not able to accomplish in a week of trying to diagnose and fix problems on and off and shot-gunning parts in and out of the system. Amazing when you get a competent tech to help out. James had factory training from Bosch, which was our brand of furnace. I think that was crucial for knowing how to diagnose and fix correctly. The only complaint I have is the pricing, but the service price seemed on par with other hourly rates in the area, maybe a little higher for this provider, which seems to be overly high in Maine. Worth the extra money for the competence that I experienced today, though.

Robert was able to be here earlier than initially scheduled. He was able to easily diagnose the problem with three toilets. He then went to pick up the parts and returned to install them. All three toilets were functioning well in quick time. Before leaving, he made sure that I was informed about the repairs.

It’s never super fun forking over a bunch of $$$ for this kind of thing, but I feel confident that the work was necessary and done well. Tip: Call to schedule a service! I’ve been told in the past that the online scheduler can be misleading.

Frozen and Broken Heating Pipe Help
Chris L. helped me get out of a frozen and broken heating pipe situation that could have been much worse! He was kind, communicative, professional, and answered all of my questions. I learned a lot of things about my complicated steam/hot water combo conversion system, and feel better equipped to diagnose and know the signs if something happens again! We also talked about future system upgrades that will make my heating system more efficient and reliable. When I scheduled a follow-up appointment two days later, Pine State sent Chris back to me! Whether intentional or luck, this made the second visit all the more efficient and personal.

The night before a much needed vacation and on the coldest predicted weekend of the year, our boiler decided to stop working. Pine State fit us in that next morning and had everything back up and running before I had to leave to the airport. Thanks so much to our tech Chris.
