Fras-Air Is the Gold Standard
Chris L. and Matt L. from Fras-Air Service Experts were lifesavers, and Tricia at headquarters really came through for us after what was a pretty trying day for our family.
We woke at 4:30 a.m. freezing this morning when temperatures were at 6 degrees outside to find that the heat in the house was not working. We first called another local service provider that we used in the past out of habit and were charged an astronomical amount for their emergency fee plus their even higher “diagnostic fee,” only to be told they didn’t have the part on them and were trying to get in touch with their manager to secure the part. They said they would be calling by noon to let us know next steps. Noon came and went, but they never called back, which left us scrambling after we called them numerous times to no avail over the next couple of hours. We have two young kids, and the approaching storm coming later tonight had us really concerned.
We saw the many great reviews for Fras-Air Service Experts and reached out to them. The person I spoke with, Tricia, empathizing with our situation, went above and beyond to get us on the schedule this evening. Chris and Matt showed up about 90 minutes later, and these guys should have been wearing capes. They went downstairs, identified the same part that was needed to be replaced, but actually got the furnace UP AND RUNNING! Chris explained that it could conk back out, but provided some tips on how to get it running again, and also provided next steps for getting the part ordered ASAP and effectively managed expectations for the next few days, taking into consideration the approaching storm. He also provided tips on how to maximize insulation and efficient airflow through the house. Overall, a very thoughtful approach that was welcomed and in stark contrast to our experience earlier in the day with a different local service provider. Take note - Fras-Air is the gold standard in customer service. Thanks again!

Thank you, Chris and Matt! We woke up this morning to no heat in 6-degree weather and an impending blizzard. Another company came for an emergency visit at 7:30 a.m. After 20 minutes and $600+, they told us we needed another part. He would look into it. Give him till noon. By 4:30 p.m. and 5 calls later, no one had gotten back to us.
We were lucky to get Fras-Air to respond and come out by 6. After 20 minutes they had gotten our heating to work at far less of a cost. And though we still needed that part, it would at least buy us some time.
They were so professional and nice. They understood this was an emergency. We have 2 young children, the electric heaters were tripping breakers and we were afraid to leave the house because the pipes would freeze. We were secretly worried. I am glad to know businesses like this still exist. Consider us customers for life.

We Can't Recommend Them Enough
We have been with Fras-Air since 2021, and we can't recommend them as a service enough. They are professional and timely, and their service technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. Kyle did a phenomenal job with our annual service today. He also showed us several things we can do to save money on our water bill that we had no idea were related to the HVAC! Chad and Chris Hit a Home Run
Chad Traver and his associate Chris arrived shortly after the beginning of the window of estimated arrival time. Our heater was performing oddly, and we were afraid of a breakdown during the recent cold snap. Both technicians demonstrated absolute professional and courteous services from the very first moment. Being mechanically inclined, I stayed with them both as the diagnostic work began. Being curious, I asked questions about what was taking place, trying not to be a bother. Chad was as well versed, patient, and articulate as I've ever experienced. Best of all, a particular part in the heater required more of a cleaning and adjustment rather than a replacement. I'm not confident that every service company and/or technician out there would not take advantage of a rather simple situation and turn it into one of a more profitable one. In my book, Fras-Air, Chad and Chris hit a home run with me! Great job!
